Privacy Policy
This policy describes how VisionInspect.AI ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit our website, submit a contact form, or use the services we provide.
1. What we collect
- Contact information you provide: name, email address, company, role, and any details you include in a message or feasibility request.
- Photos and inspection data you submit: images you send for a feasibility check or as training data for a build, plus any associated metadata (timestamps, identifiers, GPS) you choose to include.
- Account data: if you create an account, your email and authentication identifiers.
- Usage data: standard server logs, including IP address, browser, and pages visited. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection on our forms.
2. How we use it
- To respond to inquiries and deliver feasibility analysis.
- To train, evaluate, and operate the custom vision models we build for paying customers, on the data scoped in their statement of work.
- To send transactional email (form confirmations, account verification, billing).
- If you opt in, to send occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To monitor and secure the service.
3. How we share it
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf (cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, GPU compute), under contractual confidentiality.
- Authorities, when required by valid legal process.
4. Customer images and confidentiality
Photos and inspection data you submit are treated as confidential. We use them only to deliver the service you requested. We do not use customer-submitted images to train models for other customers without explicit written permission. Trained model weights produced under a paid build belong to the engagement scope defined in your SOW.
5. Retention
We keep contact form submissions for up to 24 months. Customer images and trained artifacts are retained for the term of the active service license plus 90 days, after which they are deleted on request. Account records are kept for the life of the account.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies for authentication, CSRF protection, and bot detection (Cloudflare Turnstile). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Security
We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest for storage, and access controls scoped to least privilege. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay.
9. Children
Our service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We will update this page and adjust the "last updated" date when this policy changes materially. For substantive changes affecting existing customers, we will email you.
